Platform for digital services
Liland Portal
The portal component for self-service: appointment scheduling, registrations and applications — embedded in the authority's own website, in the authority's own visual identity.
While Liland Cloud handles administration behind the scenes, Liland Portal is the interface that citizens and participants see. Both work on the same data: whatever is booked in the portal is immediately available in administration.

Applications and forms
Forms are assembled in the form editor, without programming knowledge. Mandatory fields, dependencies between fields and file attachments can be defined. Submitted applications are processed further in the system rather than distributed by email.
Resource management
Rooms, places, equipment and staff are held as bookable resources. Capacity and occupancy can be viewed centrally, and double bookings are ruled out.
Terminmatrix
Terminmatrix is the original module and the one that gave it its name. It does not present appointments as a simple list but as a matrix of time slots and the places, rooms or contact persons available in parallel. Anyone booking sees the combinations that are actually free — rather than finding out only after submitting that the appointment has already been taken. The module was developed for the Federal Chancellery in 2022 and extended in 2023 to meet authority-specific requirements.
Resource management
Participants sign up themselves, complete their details and receive confirmation automatically. Waiting lists, participant limits and registration deadlines are set per appointment. Responses are immediately available in administration.
Login and identity
The login module can be embedded in existing websites. Users log in either with their own account, with ID Austria or through the Stammportal, the Federal Chancellery's central identity portal, using single sign-on.
Bespoke workflows
Processes are mapped for each procedure: multi-stage approvals, automatic notifications, deadlines and escalations. The Province of Styria uses this in its course management module. The Federal Chancellery uses it for international conference management. It is also used for guided tours of museums and other public buildings and institutions.
Embedding in existing websites
In the authority's visual identity
Liland Portal is not linked as a separate application but embedded into the existing website. Visual identity, fonts and colours follow the requirements of the body concerned — for federal agencies including the requirements of the federal corporate design. For users the impression remains seamless: appointment scheduling and registration feel like part of the authority's website, because they are.
Operation and data protection
Where the data is held
Operation and data storage take place in data centres in Austria, and alternatively in the contracting authority's own data centre. The platforms are operated in data centres certified to ISO/IEC 27001. The certification is held by the data centre operator. Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation; Liland IT GmbH acts as processor. Transmission is encrypted throughout and backups are made regularly.
